The Great Work

Spiritual Gifts Discovery

A prayerful discovery aid—not a diagnosis, a label, or an assignment of identity. Take your time, and hold what you notice with humility.

Biblical foundation

Romans 12:3–8 • 1 Corinthians 12–14 • Ephesians 4:7–16 • 1 Peter 4:10–11

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” — 1 Peter 4:10

“Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.” — 1 Corinthians 12:7

The Spirit gives gifts to His Church for the good of others. This tool simply helps you notice patterns worth praying about, testing, and practicing.

A score is a clue—not a label.

Low scores—or never having had the chance to try something—do not mean a gift is unavailable to you. The Spirit gives as He wills; stay open.

Discern, Don’t Just Score

Pray

Come, Holy Spirit. Thank You that You have made me and that You give gifts to Your Church. Show me how You want to work through my life for the good of others. Show me where You are inviting me to take a risk. Give me courage to join what You are doing. Amen.

Group discernment

In groups of 2–3, ask: ‘Holy Spirit, how have You gifted this person for the good of others?’ Share encouragement, Scripture, ways you have already seen God use the person, or humble prophetic impressions. No advice. No assigning someone a career or identity. Test what is shared and hold it with humility.
